Rita Pires, Nádia Correia and Inês Guerra were present at the Algae Biomass Summit, during the month of October 2022, with a series of fascinating works on microalgae.

 

Rita Pires, Research Fellow at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier (ITQB-UNL) and former Master’s Thesis student in Allmicroalgae and Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa – FCT NOVA, had a lectured about: “Selenium accumulation in Chlorella vulgaris biomass grown under different trophic states for food supplementation”, during the “New Uses for Microalgae” Session, on 11th of October.

Nádia Correia, PhD Student at the Universidade do Algarve in collaboration with Allmicroalgae and LNEG, presented a Poster “High-value biomass composition from heterotrophic and autotrophic cultivation of novel Chlorococcum amblystomatis, on 12th of October.

Inês Guerra, PhD Student from the Universidade do Algarve in collaboration with Allmicroalgae, presented a Poster “Optimization of an organic medium for industrial production of a protein-rich Arthrospira platensis, on the 18th of October.
