The main objective is to significantly reduce the environmental footprint and production costs of microalgae biomass, transforming the process into a circular model.<\/span><\/p>\n

The strategy focuses on a three angles approach: first, integrating low-cost agro-food by-products as alternative carbon sources; second, implementing energy-efficient strategies; and third, valorizing CO\u2082 streams through their reuse in the process.<\/span><\/p>\n

This integrated approach is designed to produce biomass with enhanced nutritional profiles, specifically rich in protein or \u03b2-glucans. The consortium will work to optimize fermenters parameters, improve overall productivity, and conduct a comprehensive sustainability assessment, including life cycle analysis and economic feasibility.<\/span>[\/nectar_responsive_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]\n
